For the fourth consecutive year, Continuum Veterans Foundation (CVF), a nonprofit organization providing financial support to charities that focus on helping veterans find jobs in IT, has made a donation of $50,000 to Hire Heroes USA, the pre-eminent national nonprofit organization providing veteran employment services.

Recently, Continuum donated $1,000 in goods to the Yellow Ribbon Girls, an organization that distributes ribbons on a donation basis in order to purchase, package and send supplies to United States soldiers. In addition to the donation, a group of Continuum employees from the Pennsylvania office volunteered their time to package up boxes of food, gifts and home goods to be shipped overseas.
Members of the Continuum team recently provided lunch service at the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV). The NECHV, founded in 1989, is one of the nation’s largest private resources for Veterans of every era who may be facing challenges and are at-risk of homelessness.
Continuum Veterans Foundation, helping returning troops to find jobs in the IT industry, is celebrating its contributions to the success of Hire Heroes USA. The national nonprofit organization recently announced confirming its 10,000th veteran hired since 2007. Continuum Veterans Foundation, established by Continuum Managed Services, donated $50,000 to Hire Heroes USA last November, marking the third straight year of support to its mission.

Under the leadership of Nicole Hunter Hart, Senior Manager, Partner Success Programs, 17 Continuum employees volunteered to put together care packages to be delivered to the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV). The care packages were donated to veterans who are transitioning out of homelessness and into the programs offered at the center.
Continuum and the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) have a history of working together to support veterans causes. Recently, that relationship continued when Continuum dropped off more than 200 pairs of boots to the NECHV who was running a holiday boot drive. Continuum and building neighbor, Rapid7 decided to hold a friendly competition to see which company could collect and donate the most boots prior to the kickoff of the drive. In the end, both companies came out winners as a grand total of 210 pairs of boots were donated to veterans in need.
